"Oyyo" is a Proto Indo European word that is believed to be a linguistic origin for the English word "egg". Eggs are considered one of the simplest and pure shapes found in nature and the collection of sculptures in this show embody those characteristics through curvilinear forms, natural materials, fragility, and structure. Enclosed shapes act like shells to house inner spaces and moveable components have the potential to change form completely. Each piece is an interplay of interior and exterior space to create unassuming, minimal and familiar pieces.
